OFFICE ASSISTANT - AIR CONDITIONING, AVIATION & AUTOMOTIVE POOL
This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill Part-Time assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. You will be contacted by the Hiring Manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview. Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide clerical or direct support to the Air Conditioning, Aviation & Automotive department at Del Mar College.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalency.
Six (6) months office/clerical related experience.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge of various technology platforms and operating systems.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Great customer service skills and professional work ethic.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literate.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word.
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work independently and to take initiative in fulfilling responsibilities.
