Role DescriptionThe Administrative Assistant for International Trips is a full-time, on-site role based in Corpus Christi, TX. This position supports the international missions team by coordinating trip logistics, maintaining schedules and calendars, and organizing travel documentation for participants and staff. Daily responsibilities include managing phone and email communications, preparing and processing forms, maintaining accurate records, and providing clerical support such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
The role also involves liaising with internal departments and external partners, assisting with trip planning meetings, and ensuring that administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- A heart for ministry and a desire to serve international populations as well as trip attendees from the US
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, basic Excel) and comfort working with databases and spreadsheets.
- Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to manage scheduling, documentation, data entry, and general office tasks.
- Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and demonstrate cultural sensitivity in an international missions context
- High level of integrity and alignment with STCH Ministries’ mission and values; prior experience in nonprofit or ministry settings is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in administration or related fields is beneficial.
- Spanish language proficiency is preferred but not required.
