Marketing & Air Service Development Manager

The Marketing & Air Service Development Manager is responsible for creating and implementing strategies that boost airport enplanements and attract interest in on-site land development. This position works directly with airlines, preparing and delivering presentations to support air service growth. It manages all aspects of airport communications—internal and external—while effectively allocating resources to meet objectives. The manager leads public relations by building strong connections with customers, tenants, business partners, and prospective users to maintain a positive public image.

Duties include producing timely, accurate information for the public and media, such as press releases, newsletters, event materials, talking points, and social media updates. The role collaborates closely with media outlets, airport departments, and the public during both routine operations and emergencies, and works with divisions including public safety, parking, public information, and customer service. Additional responsibilities are performed as assigned to support the airport’s growth, visibility, and community engagement.

• NIMS 100, 200, 700 & 800 within 1 year of employment
• Basic knowledge in FAA Part 130 and TSA 1542
• Airport access control media identification required upon hiring and throughout employment.
• Ability to obtain American Association of Airport Executives Certified Member accreditation within 2 years of employment.
