Wylie Spray Center Corpus Christi is seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Service Manager to lead our service operations at our Corpus Christi, Texas location.
The Service Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the service department, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction while maximizing technician productivity, departmental profitability, and equipment uptime. This leader will foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement while developing employees and maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction for all daily service department operations.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of agricultural service technicians and support personnel.
- Schedule and coordinate repair work to maximize technician productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure repairs are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through proactive communication and outstanding service.
- Monitor service department financial performance, including labor sales, labor recovery, gross profit, efficiency, productivity, and departmental expenses.
- Review work orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper billing.
- Oversee warranty administration and ensure compliance with Case IH manufacturer requirements.
- Collaborate with the Parts and Sales Departments to deliver seamless customer support.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide regular coaching and development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop while enforcing company safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Promote continuous technical training and professional development.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Previous experience managing or supervising a service department, preferably in agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, construction equipment, or diesel repair.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold employees accountable.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with agricultural equipment preferred.
- Case IH Patriot self-propelled sprayers, Lemken, New Holland, Case IH Trident applicators, R equipment
- Proficiency with dealership management software and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of shop scheduling, labor management, and departmental financial performance.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Case IH Patriot self-propelled sprayers, Lemken, New Holland, Case IH Trident applicators, R equipment
