EHS Manager - Corpus Christi, TX

All responsibilities and requirements relate to ensuring corporate and site specific safety compliance, training, and incident management.

Training/Meeting Requirements
  • Corporate/Site Specific Safety Trainings
    • Schedule required safety meetings for all colleagues at the location.
    • Plan trainings in advance; prepare tests, sign‑in sheets, and required documents.
    • Conduct required training sessions.
    • Retain and upload all training records.
  • Orientations
    • Schedule/perform Contractor Orientations on request; maintain records.
    • Schedule/perform ADM New Hire Orientations on request; maintain records.
  • Facility Safety Meetings‑Other
    • Participate, assist, or lead in Daily Tool Box meetings, Monthly Safety Committee Meetings, Facility Stand‑Down Meetings, and Global Safety Week Planning and Execution.
  • Hands‑On Training
    • Train/assist with all hands‑on training activities.
    • Maintain a list of employees qualified to operate powered industrial trucks.
  • Compliance
    • Help ensure facility compliance with safety programs and requirements.
Safety/Facility Requirements
  • Help ensure compliance with corporate SAP and SMI
    • Inform management of potential concerns meeting requirements.
    • Create action plans to maintain expected SMI scores.
  • Help create and ensure compliance with annual location SAP and SIP
    • Coach personnel to fulfill requirements.
    • Provide monthly updates on progress.
  • Permits
    • Assist in writing permits, including Hot Work, LOTO, Confined Space, Low Voltage.
    • Collect and review permits for compliance with ADM programs.
    • Coach employees and supervisors on permit errors.
    • Assist in writing quality JSA’s.
    • Coach on hazard recognition and control.
  • SOP/WI
    • Create, update, and support SOP/WI implementation.
    • Monitor compliance and investigate non‑compliance.
    • Perform periodic reviews; update as needed.
    • Collect and upload JCC’s; ensure goals are met.
  • Facility Walk‑Through
    • Daily walkthroughs encouraged for compliance.
    • Participate in documented monthly inspections; prepare compliance issue lists.
    • Stop and correct unsafe behaviors/conditions.
  • Incident Reporting
    • Follow reporting guidelines.
    • Assist with input, investigation, and closing of incidents and near misses.
  • Audits
    • Assist in inputting audits completed at the facility (JCC, SOR, others).
  • Collaborate with facility colleagues on various tasks to ensure compliance with all safety requirements.
