Full-time Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) - Everhart Animal Hospital

Pet Vet Care Centers' Everhart Animal Hospital is currently seeking a Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join our team.

Position Overview

As a Care Coordinator, you will support the hospital through a range of administrative and customer service tasks, contributing to the success of a high-performing organization that delivers superior care and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations.
  • Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
  • Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.
  • Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products.
  • Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
  • Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
  • Reconciles cash drawer and performs end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.
Qualifications (Required)
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or GED required, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
  • Knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files and records.
  • Excellent customer service skills, providing courteous and prompt assistance.
  • Willingness to learn; the right candidate will receive training.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
  • Previous veterinary experience.
  • Experience handling high‑volume calls.
  • Cash and card handling experience.
Schedule

Full Time (30-38 hours), Monday to Friday with rotating Saturdays.
