The Heart Center at Driscoll Childrens Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Cardiologist with advanced imaging training to join our growing team in Corpus Christi, Texas. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary group of pediatric providers to further develop a comprehensive echocardiography laboratory within a thriving congenital heart program.

Position Highlights:

• Join a robust Heart Center providing care to congenital heart patients across 31 counties in South Texas
• Contribute to the development and expansion of a state-of-the-art echocardiography lab
• Collaborate with a dedicated team including pediatric cardiologists, surgeons, intensivists, and anesthesiologists
• Advanced training or experience in diagnostic fetal imaging is required
• Experience working in an echocardiography laboratory is preferred
• Candidates must be board eligible or certified in a pediatric cardiology sub-specialty

• Pediatric Cardiology at Driscoll has been established since 1962
• In 2017, our Heart Center recorded:
  • 9,479 outpatient and satellite visits
  • Over 10,000 echocardiograms (including 1,053 fetal echos and 140 TEEs)
  • Over 6,000 EKGs
  • More than 200 cardiac catheterizations (73% interventional)
• Home to two experienced pediatric cardio-thoracic surgeons offering comprehensive surgical services, including hybrid procedures
