* Track sessions, workshop attendance, and student engagement in career center management platform.
* Assist with collection of first-destination data and support department-wide assessment and reporting efforts.
* Participate in strategic planning and departmental meetings to contribute to continuous improvement.
* Ability to multitask, manage time, and work cooperatively with others while maintaining a professional demeanor.
* Work some nights and weekends and occasionally travel, for professional development and events.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, business, higher education administration, or a related field.
* Two (2) years of related experience in career services, academic advising, student development, human resources, or a related field (graduate assistantships, internships, etc. may count toward this experience).
- Additional education may be considered as a substitute for the minimum experience requirement:
* Master’s degree in a related field.
* Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with students from different backgrounds and across academic disciplines.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and collaboratively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with online platforms like Teams, Handshake, or similar systems.
* Two years of career guidance or academic advising experience.
* Experience working in a university career center or with career readiness programming or in a higher education setting.
* Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), LPC Associate (LPC-A), or LPC Supervisor (LPC-S)
* Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) or Optional Retirement Plan (ORP)
