GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Under the general supervision of the director, the Manager is responsible for leading a classroom his or her classroom as well as managing the remaining two classrooms in their designated area. other Managers are expected to maintain quality and compliance with NAEYC and Licensing Criteria. This position is responsible for a classroom as well as center management including designing and implementing an environment that provides developmentally appropriate curriculum and managing other teachers.
The Manager shall maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children and maintain positive relationships with families, children, and co-workers. The Manager will be responsible for all staff supervision and evaluations of the teachers in their classrooms.

EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
- o Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED
- o Meet federal as well as Texas State Requirements and maintain credentials for the position
- o Excellent communication skills
- o Experience with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and the internet
- o An associate’s degree in child development/early childhood or equivalent hours in related coursework or two years related experience or equivalent combination
- CPR and First Aide Certification, Food Handlers Certification must be obtained within the first week and maintained, Director’s Certification within 12 months
