The Testing Specialist oversees all required testing for the Adult Education ESL grant. This includes required proctor and administrator training, direct administration of weekly testing, contacting students to test, and testing follow-up including processing and interpreting scores.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate’s degree.
- Six (6) months related experience.
- Proficient with Computers and Microsoft applications
- Experience working with confidential data
- Strong customer service skills
- One (1) year working in higher education testing environment.
- Bilingual.

- Administer and monitor CASAS and GED practice test exams, in line with required testing protocols.
- Compile and review student score reports, including the uploading of score reports to individual student files, emailing student scores to the individual, and reviewing score reports to make a course recommendation for the individual.
- Monitor students’ class time hours using TEAMS data reports and send out notice of required testing once students complete sufficient class time hours.
- Complete paper forms and tracking spreadsheets to ensure proper monitoring and recording of test takers.
