The para-professional supports instructors in delivering an engaging and hands‑on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Summer Academy program. This role assists in facilitating interactive lessons, supervising students, and promoting a positive, incorporative learning environment focused on curiosity, creativity, and problem‑solving.

High School diploma or GED equivalency.

Must be able to prepare instructional materials, guide small‑group activities, support students with varying learning needs, and ensure classroom organization and safety. The para-professional encourages student participation in fun, inquiry‑based projects and helps reinforce core concepts in science, engineering, and math through collaborative and experiential learning.

Six (6) months experience working with youth or young adults in an academic or recreational setting.
