The purpose of this position is to teach assigned Drama courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional and program need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Courses may include face-to-face and/or online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes.
Minimum QualificationsMaster’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Theatre.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities- Demonstrated ability to teach theatre courses.
- Teaching experience using online platforms such as Canvas or other LMS.
- Ability to leverage and effectively utilize technology in teaching and learning for both face-to-face and online instruction, including computers, internet resources, and other appropriate media.
- Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Theatre.
- Experience teaching at the secondary or college level.
- Applicants must reside in the state of Texas and be eligible to work in the United States.
