Position Summary
ADJUNCT – SURGICAL TECHNOLOGY:
Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in the teaching discipline.
Teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need. Courses may include online courses and/or dual‑credit/early college classes.
Make continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction. Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students who have differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting the course outcomes.
Maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate degree in Surgical Technology.
- Three years experience as a practicing Surgical Technologist.
- Current CST certification.
- Experience teaching at the secondary or college level.
Applicants must reside in the state of Texas and be eligible to work in the United States.

- Assign and supervise Surgical Technology students in the surgical setting.
- Advise students throughout clinical hours as needed.
- Grade student weekly papers and evaluate students as needed in each class.
