The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and to maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual‑credit/early college classes.
Job Description SummaryThe instructor will teach specified courses, facilitate instruction, develop curriculum, and assess student performance.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities- General knowledge of the petrochemical and environmental industry.
- Experience working with analytical instruments used in industry laboratories and understanding of instrument operation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations as they apply to the petrochemical industry.
- Associate in Applied Science in Environmental/Petrochemical Lab Technology OR BS in Chemistry.
- Three (3) years of related work experience.
- Teaching experience.
