The Manager of Student Recruitment is responsible for increasing enrollment in the College’s Business Administration & Entrepreneurship, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Health Sciences, and related programs. The role involves understanding program pathways, career opportunities, admissions requirements, application steps, and enrollment next steps, and executing recruitment and engagement strategies to move prospective students from inquiry to registration.

ResponsibilitiesAssist faculty in identifying prospective students and maintain proactive communications; design and execute comprehensive recruiting and engagement plans; serve as point of contact for varied student profiles; guide students through admissions and registration processes; use CRM to track and evaluate recruitment outcomes; conduct outreach via email, text, phone, events, and in‑person engagement; identify and remove enrollment barriers; support departmental and institutional priorities;
specialize in project planning, promotion, marketing, and engagement for designated programs; plan content for social media, web, and email campaigns; coordinate recruitment activities with schools, employers, healthcare partners, and community organizations; build and maintain relationships with high school counselors, CTE directors, and other referral sources; collaborate with faculty and other internal departments; evaluate outreach effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Three (3) years of experience in marketing, communications, recruiting, admissions, sales, workforce development, healthcare recruitment, business development, employer relations, community engagement, or related fields.
- Working knowledge of the College’s offerings in Business Administration & Entrepreneurship, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, and Health Sciences.
- Knowledge of student recruitment, outreach, admissions, and enrollment processes.
- Ability to develop and implement recruitment and engagement plans that support enrollment goals.
- Ability to explain academic pathways, career outcomes, prerequisites, program requirements, admissions steps, and student support services.
- Strong communication skills with prospective students, families, school partners, employers, healthcare partners, and faculty.
- Capacity to coordinate multiple projects, events, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, student data, and communication tools to track engagement and monitor enrollment funnel.
- Experience supporting recruitment events, information sessions, school visits, campus tours, and partner events.
- Knowledge of digital communication methods – email, text messaging, phone outreach, web content, social media, and event promotion.
- Excellent written communication for clear, student‑centered recruitment materials.
- Ability to use data to evaluate activity, identify barriers, and recommend improvements.
- Working knowledge of the relevant departments, workforce programs, and community college pathways.
- Ability to work independently, follow through on assignments, and maintain effective relationships across departments and external partners.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience creating or working within CRM databases.
- Experience with Element
451 or similar CRM, marketing automation, event registration, or student communication platforms. - Experience with a Student Information System.
- Experience in special event management.
- Experience planning and producing social media content for professional or non‑profit organizations.
