LAB ASSISTANT - ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE POOL
The purpose of this position is to work in the ESOL lab. Responsibilities include assisting students in the ESOL lab to complete assigned lessons, tutoring students in related activities, data entry, answering phones and maintaining a daily log, and other duties as assigned. Working hours will be within the operating hours of the ESOL Lab. Position type:
Non-Exempt. Employment status:
Part-Time. Salary: $11.00 per hour.
- Assist students in the ESOL lab to complete assigned lessons.
- Tutor students in related activities.
- Perform data entry.
- Answer phones and maintain a daily log.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 60 hours college credit.
- Knowledge of various computer software (e.g. PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, Canvas).
- Knowledge of various technologies (e.g. using Smart boards, cameras, laptops).
- Knowledge of general office skills (e.g. answering phones, customer relations, typing).
