Function:
The campus after school program tutor works directly with students at the assigned campus, and is responsible for teaching, coaching and evaluating skill levels for eligible students served.

Reports To:

Campus Principal

Responsibilities:

• Designs and implements learning strategies to improve fundamental or developing skills in reading and math.
• Provides additional reinforcement and practice of skill deficiencies and acquisition in reading and math through one-on-one or small group instruction using alternative methods and materials/equipment.
• One-on-one or small group tutoring with students who are experiencing difficulty in mastering reading and math concepts.
• Tracks and charts student progress by reporting achievement and assessment scores.
• Cares for and maintains materials and equipment at the assigned facility.
• Communicates effectively with students, teachers, staff/personnel, and parents.
• Create and maintain part-time service schedule to meet the needs to eligible students at the campus.
• Demonstrates initiative and follow through in the performance of duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the principal and/or administration.
• Follow district guidelines and procedures and follows rules and regulations of assigned facility.

Salary: $12/hour
