Within the House of Early Childhood, you ensure the individualized reception of children aged from 10 weeks to 4 years at your home.
Integrated into a multidisciplinary team and supervised by the director of the structure, you reconcile the autonomy of your practice at home and the collective dynamic. You actively participate in the structure's awakening workshops, thus offering children a safe environment and an ideal gateway to socialization.
Main ActivitiesWelcome and accompaniment:
- Welcome and accompany the child and his family daily and in an individualized manner.
- Establish a trusting and educational partnership relationship with the parents.
Well-being and development:
- Ensure the comfort, safety, well-being, and development of the children.
- Respect the psychomotor development and the rhythm specific to each child by organizing the day accordingly.
- Support the child towards progressive autonomy.
Professional reception framework:
- Organize and arrange your home as a place of reception adapted to the needs of the children and to the exercise of your missions.
- Scrupulously ensure compliance with hygiene and safety rules.
Observation and pedagogy:
- Observe and identify the needs and competencies of the child to make adapted educational proposals, in line with the project of the structure.
- Share the daily life of the children with the families. Communicate and transmit in a fluid manner with the supervisory team and colleagues.
- Actively participate in teamwork.
Deontology:
- Respect the regulatory framework of the structure, the duties linked to the missions of public service and the regulatory framework specific to your approval.
Secondary activities:
- Ensure the continuity of the reception of the children by showing availability and investment in case of absence or colleagues' vacations.
- Actively participate in the different service meetings.
- Enroll in a continuous training process to support your knowledge and develop your professional skills.
You must be in possession of a home carer's approval issued by the President of the Departmental Council, currently valid. Technical skills:
- Professional posture in line with the reception project, - Professional reflection and solid analytical skills, - Mastery of child observation as a daily work tool, - Ability to deploy adapted educational actions, - Aptitude for parental support, - Organizational rigor and diligence.
