Position Summary InformationJob Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to coach and provide motivation to the mascot. This position assists the mascot with providing enriching connections among Del Mar College’s various supporters—including the campus community, alumni, donors, future students and general population—to reinforce Del Mar College’s mission, values, and commitment to the communities it serves while encouraging a vibrant collegiate culture that nurtures the Viking spirit.
Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalency.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred QualificationsExperience as a spirit coach at a high school, college, university or professional/semiprofessional sports team.
