The Department of Biological Sciences seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. Specific courses are assigned on a periodic basis according to department teaching needs and enrollment. Adjunct Instructors plan classes, implement learning objectives, evaluate student learning outcomes, and adhere to college, departmental, and division responsibilities, including holding regular office hours.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver instructional content for assigned courses.
- Implement learning objectives and assessment strategies.
- Evaluate student learning outcomes and provide feedback.
- Maintain office hours and provide academic support to students.
- Adhere to college, departmental, and division policies and procedures.
- Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree with 18 advanced/graduate hours in a relevant area of Biological Sciences; demonstrated college teaching experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in a relevant area of Biological Sciences and at least three years of demonstrated college teaching experience.
