• Act as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Continuously grow in the ministry by participating in religious ceremonies, training sessions, and reflection activities as directed.
• Provide assistance to the teacher(s) as the instructional program necessitates.
• Supervise individual students and small groups of students as learning activities are implemented.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and bulletin boards.
• Use multimedia material and equipment to reinforce lesson presentations.
• Perform clerical work as needed.
• Supervise students during activities, as assigned by the teacher(s) or the Principal.
• Plan instruction/activities together with the teacher(s).
• Attend in‑services and workshops as directed by the Principal.
• Perform other duties as directed by the teacher(s) and/or the Principal.

• Lifting of 10 pounds or more.
• Ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
• Maintain confidentiality.

• Skill in handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Skill in demonstrating professionalism in conduct, demeanor, and work habits.
• Knowledge of child development, learning, and behavior (preferred).
• Skill in motivating and engaging students in the learning process.
• Skill in collaborating with peers to enhance the work environment and support instructional planning.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding school matters.
• Ability to manage student behavior in a classroom setting.
• Ability to work well with others in the school community.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
• Must be able to respond to the needs of children.
• Non‑Catholic teacher aides must have knowledge of the Catholic faith and support the goals of Catholic tradition in education.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Submit to required screenings including criminal history background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check.
• Obtain certification in Safe Environment training provided by the Office of Safe Environment and Child and Family Resources.
• Position requires adherence to diocesan policies and procedures.
