The greatest support you can offer a student who scored 99% is honest feedback that they fell short.

Not because perfection is the goal. Because believing in someone's capacity to improve is among the most respectful acts you can offer.

Traditional schools shield students from setbacks. Alpha equips them for achievement. We hold that confidence doesn't emerge from reduced expectations. It develops when students accomplish what they previously considered impossible. This conviction informs every choice we make.

Our approach is intentionally distinct. Students advance through academics independently via AI-driven platforms, allowing adults to concentrate on transformational work: coaching character, cultivating resilience, fostering leadership, and establishing habits that produce exceptional results. We don't require adults to transmit information. We need leaders capable of drawing out excellence in others.

This position anchors that purpose. You'll develop the Guides who engage directly with students, transforming them into outstanding coaches instead of traditional instructors. You'll facilitate life skills workshops that students recall years afterward. You'll analyze performance data to pinpoint where students or Guides need support and coach them toward excellence. You'll simultaneously lead your own student cohort, embodying the standards you uphold for others.

The impact multiplies rapidly. Each Guide you develop influences dozens of students. Every enhancement you make to campus culture amplifies across hundreds of young lives. Success isn't defined by meetings attended or reports generated. It's determined by whether students grow more confident, disciplined, resilient, and capable through the culture you establish.

This position isn't for anyone seeking to maintain existing educational structures. It's designed for those who believe young people deserve more than compliance, attendance requirements, and mediocre expectations. If you're motivated by coaching individuals through significant challenges, leveraging data for improved outcomes, and maintaining high standards because you authentically believe in others' potential, this role will suit you.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Develop and coach Guides to execute Alpha's coaching model with reliability, enthusiasm, and rigorous standards.
  • Facilitate dynamic life skills workshops addressing communication, concentration, feedback practices, leadership, and resilience for K-8 students using established playbooks.
  • Analyze student and Guide performance metrics to uncover coaching needs, eliminate obstacles, and achieve measurable progress weekly.
  • Conduct motivation sessions that empower every student to embrace ambitious targets and reliably accomplish them.
  • Oversee your own student cohort while exemplifying the coaching quality and accountability expected from all Guides.
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Instructing academic content. Students progress through core academics autonomously via AI-powered learning platforms.
  • Developing lesson plans or curriculum materials. Your focus is outstanding coaching, not producing instructional content.
  • Controlling classrooms with lectures, worksheets, or behavioral management systems. Students direct their own learning while you coach the habits enabling success.
  • Reducing standards to circumvent challenging discussions. Elevated expectations and authentic belief in every student's capability are inseparable.
  • Evaluating success through activity volume rather than outcomes. Impact matters more than effort alone.
