Position Summary InformationJob Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts from an accredited institution or in a related field.
- Three (3) years work experience in Culinary Arts or in a related field.
- Current Serv Safe Manager or Texas Certified Food Manager certification for lab instructors required to instruct Culinary and/or Baking/Pastry courses.
- Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in the teaching discipline.
- Successful college teaching experience utilizing instructional technologies, including computers, internet resources and other appropriate media in instruction.
Applicants must reside in the state of Texas and be eligible to work in the United States.
