Acuren is currently seeking qualified RT Assistants with a 40-Hour Radiation Safety Training certification to support operations in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Location RequirementsBased in or near Corpus Christi, TX within approximately a 20-30-mile radius.
Responsibilities- Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
- Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
- Conduct NDT tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods of inspection
- Record results of inspections
- Assist with performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Technical background desired
- Must have a proven background and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
- Motor vehicle driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
- 40-Hour Radiation Safety Training
- Industrial Radiographer State Card preferred / Trainee status a plus
- Valid TWIC card or be able to obtain
