As a Capital Project Manager at Chemours (Corpus Christi site, Ingleside, TX), you will lead end‑to‑end capital project implementation, ensuring projects align with business objectives while meeting cost and schedule targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate business objectives into capital project objectives.
  • Accountable for project success, including cost and investment, ensuring non‑capital alternatives have been evaluated.
  • Set overall Project Team direction and expectations.
  • Acquire and release project resources as needed throughout the project life cycle.
  • Develop and maintain project estimates and schedules.
  • Manage overall project expenditures and schedule to meet business expectations.
  • Serve as primary interface between the Project Team and the Business Unit Steering Team.
  • Drive capital project work processes and practices per company procedures.
  • Lead all gate‑keeping reviews and ensure all front‑end (FEL) deliverables are met, including preparing project‑funding documents.
  • Ensure commissioning and turnover plans and operations and maintenance procedures are prepared.
  • Collaborate with Construction Leaders to facilitate the overall process and address design issues that impede construction performance.
Qualifications
  • B.S. degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
  • 7+ years of engineering project management experience.
  • Self‑managing and proactive.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification.
  • Texas PE license.
  • Experience in a manufacturing facility in an industrial setting.
  • Experience working in the chemicals or petro‑chemicals industry.
  • Experience with a Phase‑Gate Project Process.

Compensation
  • Pay range (local currency): $ - $.
  • Level: 25.
  • Annual bonus target: 8%.
