Full‑time in‑person role in Corpus Christi, TX. Monday through Friday 8am-5pm for a sophomore or junior student. Beginning July 2026 – December 2026. The role will require the student to take a semester off of classes.

• Support the equipment survey process and  program.
• Support inventory survey and consolidation efforts.
• Support daily advancements toward the agreed upon goals as set forth by the Engineering Manager.
• Examine failed products, providing written and oral explanations to responsible Flowserve personnel.
• Develop and acquire basic knowledge of pump and mechanical seal fundamentals to support Flowserve activities.
• Maintain working relationships with Application Engineers, Sales Engineers, Regional Reliability Engineer, and Engineering Manager.
• Attend and support meetings as designated by management.
• Support key initiatives for the local Flowserve Quick Response Center.

• BS in Engineering enrollment in good standing at an accredited university. Good communication and computer skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft programs is a must.
• Ability to utilize measuring equipment (e.g., dial calipers, micrometers, etc.) is a plus.
• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities in a self‑directed environment.
• Ability to learn quickly and develop good troubleshooting skills.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel occasionally within the Gulf Coast Region.
