Role OverviewIn the role of Coastal EIT/Coordinator, we’ll count on you to perform analysis and design of coastal restoration projects including marsh restoration and beach nourishment; shoreline protection projects including revetments and breakwaters; and navigation projects including dredging, marinas, and harbors.
Responsibilities- Preparation of construction plans and specifications.
- Developing technical reports.
- Preparation of proposals including project scope and fee estimates.
- Project management.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
- Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
