ACCIONA, within its Water business line, is seeking to hire a Mechanical / Process Technical Lead to support the delivery of a major desalination project in Corpus Christi, Texas
.

This role acts as the technical authority for desalination processes and mechanical systems, ensuring that design, equipment, and construction solutions arerobust, efficient, and aligned with performance requirements.

• Lead technical oversight of desalination processes (pretreatment, reverse osmosis, post-treatment)
• Provide expertise on mechanical systems (pumps, piping, pressure systems, valves, chemical systems)
• Review and approve engineering designs and vendor deliverables
• Support procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases
• Act as the main technical reference to resolve complex issues
• Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering
• Proven experience in water, wastewater, or desalination projects
• Strong knowledge of SWRO or advanced treatment systems
• Hands‑on experience with mechanical equipment and hydraulic systems
• Experience in EPC or design-build projects is a plus
