Aboutthe Senior Finance Associate Role
Please note:
This is an early career professional role. We often post roles requiring 10-20+ years of experience, but that is not the right amount of experience for this role. The ideal candidate has roughly 2-5 years of experience.
We are assisting a well-established company with a family friendly environment in finding a Finance Associate / Senior Finance Associate to join their team.
The Finance Associate will be the right hand to the CFO and have high visibility throughout the company. This is a robust, high growth potential role with a variety of responsibilities and upward mobility.
Please note:
This is a newly created role. The title is somewhat flexible depending on the candidate. We will consider 2-5 years of professional experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or corporate development, OR a CPA with 2-6 years of accounting experience who is interested in moving into a finance role.

Key Responsibilities for the Finance Associate:
- Assist with financial planning and the annual budget process
- Cash flow and forecasting – maintain the 13-week rolling cash flow
- Creation and maintenance of various financial models
- Interface with various Division Managers to support them with financial reports, KPIs, etc.
- Market research as needed
- Other responsibilities and ad hoc projects as they arise
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field from an accredited 4-year university
- CPA and/or MBA or other advanced degrees are highly desirable, but not required
- 2-5 years of experience with a mid-sized to large company, investment bank, private equity firm, venture capital group, or public accounting firm
- Candidates with previous financial modeling experience will be given preference
- Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting OR public accounting audit or general accounting experience with a large, complex company
- Technical:
Strong MS Office w/advanced Excel - Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools are highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and solid work ethic
