Interdisciplinary Environmental Program Manager

You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAM MANAGER in the Environmental Division of NAS CORPUS CHRISTI.
This position is Interdisciplinary and can be filled by the following series: 1301 - Physical Scientist, 0819 - Environmental Engineer, or 0401 - Biologist (Biological Science).

• You will research and respond to requests for information on environmental programs.
• You will provide consulting engineering services on matters concerning environmental compliance.
• You will conduct formal and informal training for personnel at the installation concerned with compliance with environmental regulations.
• You will provide necessary coordination and review of environmental compliance projects to ensure that they're funded, designed, and constructed in a timely manner.
• You will serve as the installation's representative on partnering teams, boards and at conferences on matters related to the environment in general and assigned environmental programs.
• You will provide compliance oversight on the installation to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, policies, instructions, and permit requirements.
• You will develop, review, and submit permit applications for managed programs.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the
