Our Outpatient Rehab Clinic offers a multidisciplinary approach to therapy, supporting children with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and sensory processing challenges. Occupational Therapists at Driscoll play a key role in helping patients achieve greater independence in daily activities through customized, play-based interventions that are developmentally appropriate and family-focused.

Title: Occupational Therapist
Schedule: Our Rehab Clinic operates Monday through Friday. The candidate will have the flexibility to choose a full-time schedule that suits their week, whether it s five 8-hour days, four 10-hour days, or another variation.

ResponsibilitiesAs an Occupational Therapist at Driscoll Children’s Hospital’s Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic, you’ll provide compassionate, evidence-based care that helps pediatric patients reach their highest level of function and independence. You’ll assess developmental and functional needs, create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans, and educate families on home programs to support continued progress. This role involves close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, participation in care planning meetings, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
You’ll also support department initiatives such as process improvement, in-service education, and community outreach.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Pediatric experience
- Current Texas Licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Current Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (within 6 months from date of hire)
- Current CPR certification or will complete within 90 days upon hire
