• You will conduct a subjective assessment of assigned patient’s speech language abilities during spontaneous conversation. You will administer objective tests to assess patient’s communication assets and liabilities.
• You will structure and implement individualized patient program to improve communication abilities.
• You will evaluate patient regularly during treatment and adjust program as needed to maximize patient progress.
• You will document progress in patient’s chart. You will complete notes, charges, discharge notes and patient communication.
• You will consult with Program Director and Rehab Physician/Medical Director regarding pre‑screen assessments and physician consultations to determine appropriate placement of potential patients.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Licensed (SLP) Speech‑Language Pathologist in the state of Texas is required.
• Master’s Degree from an accredited speech therapy program is required.
• Must have CCC licensure.
• A minimum of 1‑2 years experience in a rehab setting is required; must be post CF year.
• Experience in MBS, cognitive therapy as well as speech/voice experience is required.
• Must be able to work 2 weekend shifts a month and holiday rotation.
