Title: Sports Physical Therapist

Location: Driscoll Physical and Sports Therapy – Southside Clinic
Schedule: Our clinic operates Monday through Friday. The candidate will have the flexibility to choose a schedule that suits their 40-hour week, whether it's five 8-hour days, four 10-hour days, or another variation. Enjoy a work-life balance with no weekend shifts and no on-call duties.

Experienced physical therapists and new graduates with sports and pediatric rotation experience are encouraged to apply! Graduates may interview for our roles prior to completing and passing their exam. Licensure is required to begin orientation.
As a Sports Physical Therapist at Driscoll Children’s Hospital, you’ll play a vital role in helping pediatric and adolescent patients return to active lifestyles through evidence-based, goal-driven care. In this outpatient role, you’ll assess patients using appropriate evaluation tools, develop functional and measurable treatment plans, and educate patients and families throughout the rehabilitation process. You’ll collaborate with physicians and care teams, participate in departmental and quality improvement initiatives, and maintain documentation and productivity standards.
This role may involve occasional travel for patient care or community visits and may require flexible scheduling, including coverage across clinic settings or alternate locations. You’ll also serve as a resource by providing in-services and representing the department within the hospital and community.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Required:
- Current Texas Licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Current CPR certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire).
