** - Embark on a rewarding career as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist I.

- Play a vital role in supporting life-saving cardiac catheterization procedures.

- Prepare and maintain the lab, while operating essential equipment, including fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition.

- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and hemodynamic measurements.

- Uphold stringent aseptic techniques and patient safety standards at all times.

- Collaborate closely with a dynamic medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency.

- Serve as the radiation safety representative during X-ray usage.

- Engage in continuous learning and development in specialized cath lab technologies.

- Participate in daily room checks and stock necessary supplies.

- Access daily patient schedules and relevant patient information for assigned procedures.

- Collaborate with the procedure team to ensure optimal patient care.

- Ensure proper patient information is entered into cath lab systems.

- Perform accurate documentation and hemodynamic measurements during procedures.

- Maintain appropriate patient positioning and safety during procedures.

- Train and demonstrate proficiency with various cath lab equipment.

- Support physicians during procedures, ensuring patient safety throughout.

- Adhere to aseptic techniques and organizational policies related to patient safety.

- Engage in teamwork by sharing knowledge and facilitating collaboration.

- Assist with patient transport as needed.

- Act as radiation safety representative during procedures.

- Perform fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition as instructed.

* Job Requirements:

**
- Education:

Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field;
Bachelor's degree preferred.

- Experience:

0-1 year in an acute care setting preferred.

- Certifications:

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only).

- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA only).

- Preferred certifications include RCIS, RCES, RCS, or ARRT certifications.

- State Licensure:
Required in Texas (MRT or LMRT by TMB).
