Seven Healthcare are seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join a dynamic operating room team on a travel assignment in Corpus Christi, TX. This role focuses on providing high-quality surgical support within a variety of specialties including Neurosurgery, General, Orthopedics, Plastics, Urology, ENT, and Vascular surgery. You will be operating in a state-of-the-art environment, contributing to excellent patient care.

Key responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician include:

• Assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients
• Maintain aseptic techniques and actively monitor situations to prevent breaches
• Transport patients to and from the Operating Room suite
• Prepare and position patients and identify biological specimens
• Set up the Operating Room with tables, instruments, and supplies according to the case
• Establish and maintain sterile fields and assist physicians during surgical procedures
• Utilize physician preference cards and ensure they are current
• Work effectively as part of the surgical team and adhere to safety protocols

Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of Surgical Technology program or accredited LVN/LPN program required
• 2 or more years of experience preferred
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN License required
