Lead Business Analyst

Overview

The Application Program Lead drives completeness, compliance, and accuracy of Business Application records in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The role collaborates with Configuration Management, Service Portfolio, Technology, and Business Application teams to establish lifecycle governance practices, ensure audit readiness, and maintain data integrity.

• Govern the end‑to‑end lifecycle of business application CIs within the CMDB, ensuring data integrity and adherence to enterprise standards.
• Share accountability for the Application Governance Board, aligning stakeholder requirements with enterprise standards.
• Drive enterprise‑wide compliance by managing annual application attestations and maintaining a high‑fidelity inventory of critical infrastructure.
• Strategically oversee corrective action activities, tracking remediation efforts to completion to mitigate risk.
• Continuously refine governance frameworks, utilizing performance data to enhance efficiency and stakeholder alignment.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with business leaders to support governance of BU operations.
• Prepare and deliver presentations; respond to questions or issues and escalates as needed to leadership.
• Coordinate information from various LOB areas to develop strategic plans, including new technology or business unit integration.
• Perform complex projects for senior management that require analysis of large datasets.

• Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or equivalent; or 6+ years of relevant experience in IT Asset Management or IT Service Management.
• Proven ability to execute strategic asset management or IT service management processes successfully.
• Strong management and negotiation skills.
• Capable of carrying out assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Fundamental understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management (ITSM) methodology.

• Analytical judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for results.
• Network with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
• Set methods and procedures on new assignments; coordinate activities of other personnel.
