Job Description

Responsibilities:

Demonstrated understanding of data management best practices and pattern.

Standardize and enshrine business and product metric definitions in the data warehouse.

Evangelize data, analytics, and data model design best practices.

Assist in implementing effective business analytics practices that drive improved decision making, efficiency and performance.

Define the data requirements and structure for the application.

Model and design the application data structure, storage and integration.

Collaborate to build data strategy, direction and roadmap for enterprise data management, data quality program and data warehousing.

Design of data models for analytical and data warehouse systems including performing tasks related to data profiling, database design, data analysis, data quality, metadata management.

Create and maintain technical systems documentation.

Experience:

10+ years of experience of Enterprise Data Governance, Data Warehousing and Cloud Data platforms.

6+ years of Data Modeling experience to deliver both logical models & physical design for analytical systems.

Experience working with cloud-based data warehouse applications such as Snowflake, Big Query, or similar.

Experience working with a variety of data-specific technologies.

Proven modeling and data pipeline buildout experience.

Must be able to display and articulate strong Enterprise Data Management expertise.

Understanding of data quality concepts, best practices and tools, with strong experience with data analysis techniques.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to quickly understand how various elements relate to one another, having an end to end perspective of decisions and anticipating issues/roadblocks.

The desire to work collaboratively, particularly over video or asynchronously through online tools.

Strong conceptual and analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills mandatory.

Skills Required:

Reporting - Looker, Tableau.

Data Warehouse - Snowflake, Big Query.

Cloud Suites - AWS, GCP.

Data Integration & Scheduling - Fivetran, Airflow.
