Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to assist the Web Services team in maintaining and supporting the College’s web resources. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in web technologies, accessibility, and IT support. Duties include updating website content, assisting with accessibility compliance, providing basic technical support, and supporting faculty, staff, and students with web-related tools.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with common web browsers.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Exposure to HTML/CSS or any coding language.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.

Job Duties
  • Update and maintain website content using a Content Management System (CMS) to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) by reviewing and adjusting web content for usability; training will be provided.
  • Assist with Learning Management System (LMS) support for faculty and students, including troubleshooting and basic guidance.
  • Provide first-level technical support for Microsoft 365 and other web-based applications, resolving common issues and escalating when necessary.
  • Respond to help desk tickets and participate in small projects under the supervision of senior staff to support web services initiatives.
