About the RoleWe are seeking a high-energy, strategic, and results-driven Team Leader, Account Management to lead our high-performing team. We believe that renewal is not a transaction—it is the natural result of continuous value, seamless onboarding, and deeply rooted customer relationships.
In this role, you will not just manage day-to-day operations; you will challenge the status quo, optimize our retention playbook, and act as a dedicated coach. Location:Texas only Residents (100% Remote)
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Retention Outcomes: Own, forecast, and deliver on the team’s annual recurring revenue (ARR) and gross/net retention targets.
- Embed Customer Value Early: Guide the team to maximize customer lifetime value by ensuring exceptional onboarding experiences and continuous relationship building throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Coach and Develop: Act as a dedicated mentor to your team, conducting regular 1:1s, shadow sessions, and deal reviews to elevate their customer engagement, negotiation, and risk-mitigation skills.
- Push the Status Quo: Continuously analyze current renewal processes, identify friction points between onboarding and renewal, and implement bold strategies to increase efficiency.
- Manage Complex Deals: Step into high-value or at-risk renewal conversations to provide strategic support, leverage executive relationships, and help close critical milestones.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align on customer health, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure seamless post-onboarding handoffs.

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of direct experience carrying and hitting an individual sale, account management, or renewals quota. - Leadership
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience successfully managing, leading, and developing a team (preferably in SaaS or a high-growth environment). - Relationship & Onboarding Expertise: Proven track record of designing or managing customer journeys focused on successful onboarding, adoption, and long-term trust.
- Outcome-Obsessed: Strong history of meeting or exceeding team revenue, retention, or churn metrics.
- Change Agent: Demonstrated ability to challenge existing processes and successfully drive operational change within a team.
