LocationHydraulic Repair Technician – Corpus Christi, TX
Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and test heavy hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and related equipment to meet customer specifications.
- Maintain company supplied PPE and equipment; ensure work assignments meet the highest quality level.
- Complete daily tasks with minimal supervision; repair a variety of hydraulic equipment including cylinders, pumps, valves, seals, and more.
- Trace and locate defects that cause failures; identify the causes of malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
- Measure, fit, and install components such as pistons, valves, bearings, seals, rings, and cylinders to specified clearances per OEM specifications.
- Perform required function and final performance testing (including synchronization of remote or manual electrical and hydraulic controls) before releasing equipment to customers.
- Carry out cleanup and housekeeping activities in the hydraulic repair department.
- Promote positive forward‑thinking among peers; comply with H.O.S.T. safety rules and company policies.
- Understand and comply with the H.O.S.T. Employee Handbook and relevant SOPs.
- Dependable, reliable, and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, and thrives in fast‑paced environments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude; mechanical inclination preferred.
- Good working knowledge of mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic processes.
- Critical thinking, problem‑solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills; basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and write in English and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
- Knowledge of hydraulic repair is required.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
