French Ellison Truck Center is currently accepting applications for a Fabricator/Welder. Responsibilities include fabrication and welding of oilfield equipment. Previous experience is preferred. Excellent benefits offered. This is a great opportunity to join a growing and successful dealer group!

• Fabricate, weld, and repair oilfield equipment

• Maintain accurate dimensional tolerances
• Work from drawings, blueprints, verbal instructions, and other
• Flag time worked and write stories
• Clean and maintain welding equipment
• Adhere to safety procedures

• Formal technical training degree, certificate or diploma preferred or equivalent work experience
• Must have experience with fabrication and welding on both metal and aluminum
• Must be able to handle heavy materials manually and with machinery
• Must have general tools to perform minor mechanical duties
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret shop repair order forms, repair manuals, blueprints, and various other technical bulletins
• Ability to use computer keyboard and Windows basics
• Ability to work in an environment with frequent exposure to outside weather elements
• Ability to work 8 - 10 hour days, including overtime hours as needed
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, walk and sit on a regular basis with frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
