Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalency.
- Six months related experience.
- Demonstrated ability to produce promotional materials for web and print publications and content for commercial social media sites.
- Demonstrated knowledge/expertise in reporting, writing and editing for print publications.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with talent and ability to create and post online content.
- Proficient in Photoshop, CANVA , InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher and Outlook).
- Associate degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising or related field.
- Two (2) years experience working in marketing or advertising.

- Assist in the research, writing and publications of original materials for the Continuing Education Division.
- Develop graphics and layouts for execution in promotional marketing materials for print and web campaigns.
- Create engaging, interactive social media content and schedule daily posts across various social media platforms.
- Closely monitor current events/industry news and post related articles. Respond quickly to comments and interact with and engage followers on social media.
- Coordinate with and submit to College Relations the timely delivery of marketing publications and support materials.
- Update the Department’s web site.
- Assist in campus outreach and special events.
- Assist with administrative and customer service support services as needed, such as answering telephones, receiving visitors to the office, general office administration and filing.
