About the Position

just steps from the beach in Corpus Christi, TX. Join the fully supported Neuro Trauma
program, a newly built, state-of-the-art facility recognized for excellence in
stroke and trauma care.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-acuity neurosurgical
service caring for critically injured trauma patients who require specialty
neurosurgical management—all while enjoying a predictable schedule and coastal
lifestyle.

Schedule

Shared
coverage model between 2 APPs

No
call, no nights,

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate
with the on-call neurosurgeon to evaluate, manage, and disposition
neurosurgical consults from the Emergency Department and inpatient units

Round
on all neurosurgical service patients, providing comprehensive assessments
and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams

Conduct
outpatient clinic follow-ups to ensure continuity of neurosurgical care

Assist
in neurosurgical procedures as needed, including pre-operative assessments
and post-operative management

Educate
patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and recovery
expectations

Qualifications

Master’s
degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies

Active
Texas licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

National
certification as an NP or PA

Prior
neurosurgery, trauma, or acute care experience strongly preferred

Strong
communication skills and ability to work effectively within a
multidisciplinary team
