Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Operating Room position at a busy facility. The role involves providing perioperative care for various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Administer preoperative and postoperative nursing care to surgical patients.
- Assist surgeons and surgical team with procedures and equipment setup.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative emergencies.
- Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in EMR.
- Adhere to unit policies, guidelines, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing.
- Minimum of 1 year of OR nursing experience.
- BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call hours.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and high-energy motivated personality.
- Familiarity with MEDITECH EMR system.
