American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN OR for a travel nursing job in Corpus Christi, Texas.

• Shift: Days (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM), 5x8hrs

• OR setting within a hospital surgical services department featuring 9 OR suites
• 1:1 patient ratio in the OR
• Surgical specialties include neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, colorectal, plastics, podiatry, ENT, and orthopedics
• Equipment used includes Brain Lab, da Vinci robotic system, and surgical microscope
• EMR system:
  Meditech
• On-call is mandatory: weekday call 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM; weekend call 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC); must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR nursing experience
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• May be required to float to the Bay Area OR
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility – local candidates are not eligible
• Motivated, detail-oriented candidates are the ideal personality fit for this team

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
