- Provides nursing care following ANA standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, and administers medications/treatments per protocol, monitoring effects.
- Documents patient history and care, assesses learning needs, and educates patients and families.
- Meets competency expectations, including leadership, and adheres to organizational standards.
- Requires a BSN preferred, 1+ year of relevant experience, RN license, and BLS; certifications like NRP and STABLE are mandatory within specified time frames.
- Participates in onboarding, annual competency validation, and may attend specialized RN residency or perinatal training.
- Work schedule varies; full-time position.
