Job Summary And QualificationsThe role involves assisting the Director with department activities, coordinating participation in Performance Improvement activities, ensuring nursing care is based on the nursing process, providing clinical support to nursing staff, and assisting in planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients in the Women’s Services Units.
What You Will Do In Your Role- Assist the Director with all department activities to assure a coordinated effort in fulfilling department responsibilities aligned with the facility’s long‑range plan, mission, vision, and values.
- Coordinate the department’s participation in Performance Improvement activities to ensure continuous Quality Improvement.
- Ensure that nursing care is based on the nursing process and evaluate its effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
- Provide clinical support to the nursing staff.
- Assist, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in the Women’s Services Units.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Women’s Services area.
- Minimum 2 years of management or Charge Nurse experience.
- BSN required.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or a Multi‑State Compact License (employees with an RN Compact License must obtain a Texas RN License within 60 days of hire).
