Adelphi is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses to perform advanced vocational nursing work at a facility in Cameron County, Texas. The ideal LVN will provide clinical care and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• Completion of an approved LVN program
• Current unencumbered nursing license to practice in Texas
• Two years’ experience in nursing in an acute or long‑term care setting
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification
• Pass a background check and drug screening

• Perform routine vocational nursing work
• Provide clinical care and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Provide care, treatment, and general welfare of patients
• Work under moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment
• Work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse
• Perform nursing duties within assigned areas and shifts
• Perform basic and complex nursing tasks to meet individuals’ health needs
• Keep informed of and follow all agency, facility, and unit policies and procedures
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Have strength and flexibility to safely perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
