Travel CVOR RN - Cardiac Surgery

Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Corpus Christi, Texas.

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with open-heart/cardiovascular surgical cases
• Must be willing and able to support General OR cases when CVOR volume is low

• BLS (AHA only)
• Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License

• BSN preferred

• Independently provide perioperative nursing care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor patient response and document care in Epic
• Educate patients and families
• Delegate appropriately and collaborate with the surgical team

• 2+ years of recent CVOR/Open Heart OR experience
• Comfortable with:
  • CABG
  • Valve repair/replacement
  • Other cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Epic proficient
• Flexible to float into General OR when needed
  
  Strong independent clinical judgment and teamwork skills

Option 1: 40 hours weekly pay – Pay Package: $2,185.20/week

Option 2: 36 hours weekly pay – Pay Package: $1,979/Week
