RN – Registered Nurse (Travel – ED)

Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Contract: 13 weeks onsite, starts 7/20/2026

Pay: $12.50/hour + $450 weekly base pay = $1,246 weekly stipends

Location: 7101 SPID, Corpus Christi, TX – Bay Area Emergency Department, 1st floor

Shift: Day shift 12‑hour shifts, 3 days per week, 7 am–7 pm.

• Units:
  Emergency Department (Level II trauma)
• Bed count: 16 beds with 8 hall chairs
• Staff per shift: 6–7, including 1 charge, 1 triage, 4–5 nurses, 1 US, 1–2 techs
• Patient ratio: 1:4 (low acuity Level 4–5, may take
  6)
• Equipment: cardiac monitors, Baxter IV pumps, tonopen, etc.
• EMR:
  Meditech; vital signs flow into chart

Note:

The unit is in transition from Level IV to Level II trauma hospital.

• Assessments, documentation, medication administration, wound care, splinting, IVs
• Urine collection, lab draws
• Caring for patients 5 through 1 (high acuity) in ED
• Participate in shift huddle at 7 am and 7 pm
• Adhere to EMTALA training and unit policies

• Level II or Level III trauma experience
• TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS

• CEN or TCRN, CPI
• Greater than two years of emergency department experience

• Scrub color—Royal Blue preferred
• Team jersey optional for Sunday team spirit

• Shift huddle mandatory unless providing critical care at huddle time
• EMTALA training mandatory
